

Cheryl Clark, M.D.
Dr. Clark supervises all of the doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical staff at the Mental Health Center of Denver. Dr. Clark describes her job as "the most magical job in the world" and enjoys helping patients feel uplifted by the opportunity to talk about their recovery issues. She considers it a privilege to help patients foster their own growth and recovery journey and appreciates having the ability to do so at MHCD.
Peter Wagner, M.D.
Dr. Peter Wagner first joined the Mental Health Center of Denver in 1999 as a general adult psychiatrist. In 2009-2010, he took a year off to pursue a specialty fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry at the University of Colorado/Denver VA MIRECC. His fellowship training included providing outpatient and inpatient consultation at these academic institutions, as well as at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital on the acute neurorehabilitation service. After completing his fellowship, he returned to MHCD in 2010 to develop its new Center for TMS Therapy and Center for Neuropsychiatry services. He also continues a part time postdoctoral affiliation with the University of Colorado Department of Psychiatry-Neurobehavioral Disorders Program. Through this affiliation he has contributed to investigations into the use of cognitive assessment tools in neurorehabilitation following traumatic brain injury.
